STUDENT REFLECT YOUTH-LED INITIATIVE
Making schools better places for every student

Introducing Student Reflect
Student Reflect is a youth-led initiative operating online along with offline to make the school a safer and more accessible place for every student in the Thai community.

Starting in 2019 in SKN; Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi school, one of the founder's friends had a mental breakdown after a hard lesson.
Her friend was stressed by the teacher's words which were not encouraging. As a result, she was not in her mood all day. The founder and her friends tried to tell the teacher directly, but it did not help. No matter how much they tried, still, nothing had happened. The school didn't have any system for the students to report their problems. That was when the founder started a little movement by creating a google form for the student in her grade. With the help and support of fellow class leaders, 80% of the students in that particular grade responded to the form, making a considerable impact on the school's student system.
The start of a bigger movement
The little movement has begun to grow up to other steps.
Finally, the founder and her close friends started "SKN Student Reflect" as this school's first platform, area, and movement to serve as a safe space for students to share their voices.

After two years of Reflect operation, we listened to and engaged about 2000 students about their problems and opinions.
In SKN, the movement is led by the second generation of young leaders.

Moreover, the founder has started her operation plan to expand the Student Reflect movement in other schools in Thailand with the help of other youth activists and UNICEF Thailand, making SKN the first branch of the Student Reflect youth-led initiative.
